Best opening chapter ever. It sneaks up on you and the last line in the chapter whacks you in the head. I did not see it coming! Alas, I lent the book to a friend who was flying out for Thanksgiving. She's never read Kristan Higgins, I'm so happy to introduce her to Kristan's work. She'll get to finish it before I do.
