p 244 "full-blooded Aborigines in ceremonial paint" WTF? There is so much wrong in this book's attitude toward Indigenous culture. I think the fact the author was able to research the Ghan so thoroughly for the setting, a bit of rudimentary research into Uluru and the people there (not just the high-end attractions) might have helped. I liked that KC did not climb the rock but..."full blooded"? FFS!
