This is such a good book. Bunyan is known most notably for The Pilgrims Progress but I would place The Holy War right up there with it. It is a remarkable allegory.

I read this book to my oldest son when he was 8 and thankfully I get to read it again to my middle son who is now 8. And Lord willing I plan on reading it to my third son when he is 8.
