These diatribes where the dialogue runs page deep gets very hard to manage. Cool things are happening for those who love a little bit of blood and gore. I enjoy the refinement by fire just as Dani became Jada in the Fever series. The duality of Lena’s conscience is supposed to be complex but it is actually confusing sometimes. Also I’m miffed and excited at my correct prediction of god interference.

I’m mortified to say this. But this might be a DNF. It makes no no no sense. It’s disjointed. It’s like the story is on shuffle mode. I am literally so disconnected that I’m just “watching” the plot.

I need to say this now but this book is utterly confusing. I can fine quotes and sayings from the previous books that I JUST reread that contradict some of the findings here. Also I need an investment on proper nouns because I don’t know who he is she is when everything is in reference to a subject that was said waaay earlier. Also, Ton of repeat again like in Dragon and last fae books.
