wow, this is really hard to slog through! so academic! and very few assertions; it's mostly this commentator said this, and that commentator said that, but no opinions of his own.

Finally, at chapter 7, we've reached the verse-by-verse commentary beginning with Romans 1:1. It's more section by section, picking out important or disputed phrases. Thankfully, this section is much easier to understand and more succinct.
