Hey man, you will definitely get a kick out of the Diamond Age. This was my first Stephenson novel and was what quickly drew me into the man's genius. I've got an extra copy of Cryptonomicon when you're done with Diamond Age. I've read Cryptonomicon 3 times in the past 3 years and will probably read it again every year for many to come.
