Especially, since I'm catching up with Game of Thrones (TV series, not the books) right now and it reminded me of Cethe and the complex, elaborate world-building Becca Abbott provided :)

Exactly! I enjoyed Cethe so much, then I found Reifu Rising on her website and I also loved it! They both could easily be sagas comparable to Captive Prince or even GoT or LotR, right? With so much world-building, complex MCs, steamy, a bit kinky sex scenes and all that politics and intrigues, right?
But ever since then? I've no idea where she's been hiding... :(

With GoT, I have been very determined and patiently waited until I could grab all the 7 seasons together! Now I'm steadily enjoying myself, awaiting the Grand Finale ;) I would've died, had I had to wait from season to season as all the other people watching the show, especially with all those damned cliffies, LOL!

EXACTLY!!!!! At this point in my head the fantasy list is:
1. Captive Prince
2.Bloodraven
3. Cethe
4. Reinfu Rising

1. I'm happy for your choices ;) I've had Bloodraven on my laptop for ageeeees now (the "normal" and graphic versions) but it's such a monstrosity (I mean a long book, mind you!) that every few months I'm putting off reading it, until later, and later... LOL

2. Yes, it's my 1st time with GOT. And yes, I've managed to terrorise all of my students NOT to tell me any of the spoilers and I kept away from all these crazy GoT clips on YouTube.
The truth is, I started watching it maybe 3 or 4 times in the past and I never went further than maybe 20 mins of episode 1? I found it terribly boring at that time. And, TBH, this time I also struggled through season 1, terribly so. It only gripped me from season 2 onwards and I'm so glad I made it ;) I'm in the middle of season 6 now :)

Some spoilers did slip through my filter but, as I didn't know the names and had no clue who the heck were my friends talking about, they didn't bother me... ;)

Well, I want to write 2 quick reviews and then I'm getting back to Jon Snow and Co. :)
