Mr. Loewen also did a series of lectures on CD called "Everything You've Been Taught is Wrong" which was really interesting.

Love this book! I read it in college.
I read this about 12 years ago, and it kicked off a major change in my reading themes... from mainly novels to mainly history, science, and other non-fiction topics.
He fought the state of Mississippi in the 70’s when they refused to publish the MS history textbook he wrote. He won and it was published. “Mississippi: Conflict and Change.”
This book is why I teach history
He also wrote another book called Lies Across America that is just as good.
One of my favorite books that takes a devastating view on how history is taught in the US. There is a 2nd book fro the same author Lies Across America and it takes the same view on monuments
