Status Update

Gabi is finished

I was reading for 3 hours straight. I teared up a bit but wasn't full on bawling. (Probably coz I was recording myself and felt self-conscious.)

I only had a bit left and I thought to myself "okay, I survived it, that wasn't so bad". And then the last fucking page broke the dam and I was crying. That wasn't even the worst part. It was kind of a 'look to the future and be happy' moment. And that made me cry. Gah!

I think I had an epiphany right along with Mark.

When someone tells you something simple, and you reply "okay, I understand". And after a while they tell you the same thing again, and you say "okay, I get it". And then they tell you a third time, peering into your soul, willing you to get it, and you go "Oh. Oh, so that's what you meant."
