Have you read "Behold a Pale Horse?" I'm told that was the best syncretic conspiracy book before David Icke came along.

Yes, I own that and have read it! Have you read the Trance-formation of America?
No, I like occult stuff, but I'm a bit scared of going down a rabbit hole because it can become obsessive. I think that's what Robert Graves told Colin Wilson early in his career; "Don't write about the occult or you'll never be able to write about anything else." And it kind of turned out to be true for Wilson.
