Another example of crazy-but-awesome nuttery from this book; the author recommends swords for home defense over guns, especially for women...and then lays out about a dozen sensible reasons why its a good idea. I started that section being all "WTF dude??" and ended it thinking "now that...that would actually work now that I think on it."

So far this has been by turns funny, poignant, rambling, insightful and salty as hell. I'm enjoying it, but a lot of 21st century readers might not.

Okay, the section on why you should never kick above the waist involves a story from the author that is both hilarious and (if you're a guy) cringe-inducing.

Ye gods and little fishes, the pictures that accompany the text are soooo '80s ghetto it hurts! Adds a bit of authenticity though...

So far there are some formatting issues with the new Kindle edition, but so far I like the content. Some people would definitely be offended by the author's tone though...
