I don’t know if it’s my general disdain towards the repetitive hererosexual romance, but every time the author describes Chaol’s masculinity and “maleness” I want to pull my fucking eyes out. Aside from this, the series and the world it takes place in are intriguing. Celaena’s arrogance is somewhat irritating but that’s probably just personal opinion.
