"Want some company?" She arches a brow coyly in an open invitation.

Deck my halls. I could go on and on with the seasonal clichés, but I'm starting to sound like a perv even to myself.

"What the hell happened?" Perry demands, while at the same time Saul is questioning, "What is it? What's wrong?"
Still bouncing around like a jackrabbit on Red Bull, I point to the sofa and screech, "Snake! Snake! There's a SNAKE under there!"

I'm sitting cross-legged on the floor, singing along with Burl Ives while separating the artificial branches[...]when disaster strikes.
Out of nowhere, a scuffling sound. A quick flash of movement. And suddenly, something long & black is slithering from a chewed-up corner of the box to disappear beneath the couch.
My scream is so loud, I have no doubt the ripple effect will forever alter the fabric of time & space.
