How is it? I tried to read this and was having a hard time connecting. Does it get better?

I enjoyed it. The back and forth started to annoy me towards the end. I understand why it was all very crucial to the story... But it got to the point where it was like "come on already!!" I also have mixed feelings about the ending as well. Overall, I enjoyed it and will definitely be reading the 2nd one to get more answers. I would recommend it. :)
