Picture me surprised, but this series is actually growing on me...
And it's funny looking at all those disappointed faces from around here. Maybe it's because I had NO expectations unlike some of you, or because these characters are finally starting to grow up? Or because Nikolai is still fun to be around?
Well, this IS Leigh Bardugo, it seems like her can do no wrong on the long term - and that's no surprise.

I know why I like this book better...
It’s because of the entire group and their dynamics. It’s not only about Alina and her harem, it’s about all of them - their past, their hopes, their friendship, the betrayal, the pain of losing someone. That’s what Bardugo excels at :)
