This has all different kinds of old stories in it. I have just read the first one. Halt told Will that his mom died at birth, when he told the truth, even I was shocked. Will's Father died in war for Halt. Even Will's mother died by saving him. Halt blames himself, but Will tells him it's no his fault. So to me, that was a great lesson. I hope they have better stories for me to read and be entertained.
