...because random sex solves all problems. Especially such paltry ones as severe injury.

GAH. JAIME, YOU'RE MAKING ME FEEL FEELINGS. AND THE FEELINGS HURT. And he's not even in the scene.

"To Rob's mind, it was that calm before the storm that made what happened next seem even worse." ...so this dude's a precog now? Wow! This is getting, in the words of Jez Morrow, "gooder and gooder"!

"The bottom line was Jamie had kept being a wolf a secret, stripping Rob of his right to choose." That was all they needed to say in Rob's stead. Now I really can't tell if it was good, pseudo-subtle writing or really badly overdescriptive and circumlocutive writing. I think I'm making words up now.

Okay, the authors are so overdescribing now that I can't tell if it's just that both of 'em felt the need to comment on this or that this Rob dude's trying to justify his thoughts to himself. PROBABLY ABOUT 75% OF THIS INTERNAL NARRATED MONOLOGUING CAN BE CUT OUT WITHOUT AFFECTING THE STORY. MAYBE EVEN 80%

"The anger he felt caused by Jamie‟s lies coiled inside him, waiting to spill into violence. If he ever set eyes on Jamie again, he was going to completely ignore him and act as if the situation had never happened." Oh, man. I feel the full weight of his anger. Dang, I can't believe his reaction. That's harsh, man. Harsh. I mean, ignoring him? How much more violent can this get?
