I read L’Allegro and Il Penseroso, Samson Agonistes, and Paradise Lost for a Milton class years ago, and was thinking about how much I enjoyed them yet never read the rest of the poems in this book. I have to admit that I like Milton a lot more when I can have discussions/help deciphering his words...Reading it alone takes away from the magic for me.
