So they must've drugged her daughter so she'd "nap" after lunch while they proceeded to have sex for "Hours and hours", until nighttime (not even feeding the 6 year old dinner!). But she's drugged enough to sleep (19-21hrs!) while mommy has screaming orgasms in the next room. I knew she was an awful mother, but now I think CPS needs to step in.

Every time I really get into this book the misrepresentation of the child rips me right back out. If you want to write a toddler, THEN FUCKING MAKE IT A TODDLER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously, what universe do authors/publishers live in to not get basic characterization of anyone younger than 18? Moss called, it wants that rock you've been living under back.

Okay, she's 23 not 27. But still, a child is involved. If she can't support herself and the kid then she shouldn't keep the child and adopt the daughter to someone who can provide a good life for her. #triggered
