This book is a sheer delight. Cosimo, this young teen boy, is living on the trees, the family dynamics change. It has an old tale flair, and Italian flavor. It's funny too.

This tale is childhood, realistic but with a hint of the fantastic. It's pure delight.

Funny, but reading Ten Poems to Change Your Life, I found out a woman called Julia Butterfly, who lived two years on top of a tree to prevent it from getting cut. Cosimo in The Baron in the Trees, we are told in the first pages, went up a tree one day to never come down.
