The concept of the book was interesting, which promoted me to give it a shot, but so far I'm disappointed. Most of the characters are stock characters, stereotypes, or hyperboles, lacking the depth and complexity I'd like to see. The writing is also poorly done, simply telling the reader what the character thinks and feels and why they feel it, rather than making good use of descriptive writing.
