I'm not sure if I like the main character, Jasmine. She comes across fairly rude, mouthy, immature, and noisy in her head. I prefer not to be told every thought and decision made. Jasmine and her skating partner are both juvenile and petty. Her "best friend", status of which we are told constantly, hasn't spoken to her in over a month? I want to like this although I'm not feeling connected to the characters.
