Checked out my recommendations today and they're all TA. Between GRs and my friends, I'm thinking I just need to break down and read them already.

I don't really think I'll like it either, but everyone else seems to and Sherri's been trying to get me to read them. Makes me wonder if I should just give them a try.
It never hurts to give something a try! I can tell you that I personally only liked the parts with Warrick in them, and as the story is VERY Toreth-centric, there are relatively few of those. The rest of it either bored or appalled me.
I never grew to like Toreth - I think he's just a crazy sociopath. And arguably an even bigger manwhore than Dan in SF, so if you are looking for monogamy in TA? You won't find it.

Ha!You are teetering on the edge of the TA hole aye? Well, Jen is right...Toreth is a difficult pain in the ass and challenging to enjoy most of the time, but when he finally broke me- I was hooked!
The first (MF) drags a ton, I almost gave in and wondered what the hype was about...but I am glad I pushed on. And besides, it will keep you busy for a while!
Lol. I definitely don't need help staying busy! But I started Feeling the Rhythm by S. J. Frost today, (I hadn't realized it was out) so TA is going to have to wait till tomorrow when I finish it. Then idk. We'll see. I'm seriously considering starting it.
