The book begins with a gory description of 'pralaya' or the Hindu version of the apocalypse in the 'prologue'. This method of starting the book at the very end of the universe was very interesting to me. I also enjoyed the vivid language and imagery.
Ganga stole my heart from the very first chapter. She is fiery and loving, and her escapades were charming.
