No, but my daughter and I are looking for something to read together. Is it a fast paced read?
The Shadow Speaker was really good! I just read it. I'd also suggest the Hunger Games (depends on how old your daughter is though) and the devil's Kiss (I haven't read it, but I've heard good things about it).
It's by the Author of The Hunger Games (and less traumatic). It's fast-paced with some great characters and lots of fun. I laughed a lot while reading through it and am on the last book now.
I don't know how old your daughter is but the Mortal Instruments Series by Cassandra Claire is a good read. City of Bones is book 1.
I got her the hunger games. She's preteen and picked it out from the suggestions you all made. I guess we'll be reading them together.Thanks for the suggestions.
