these books are not good. i don't understand why they exist???? i don't understand why there are four of them. plus, i'm noticing a big trend where robin hobb builds up these big moments, these giant plot points... and then denies us the actual moment, and writes about it in retrospect. from the actual moment of discovery of kelsingra in the previous book to malta hearing that tintaglia is "dead"... it sucks.
