Just finished Creeker. All of the stories have been really good so far; Creeker showed promise but was frustrating to read because it was in desperate need of proofreading.

Part 3- in fact, she implies she wants to go, in part, to get away from the mob drama. Also, why did her father only have one bodyguard if he's this big important boss? And Blake concocts a plan knowing the Riccis are dangerous but then is surprised to find out they are dangerous. He also smokes a cigarette saying he hadn't smoked in ages-- where did he get the smokes? Do yourself a favour and give this one a pass.

Part 2. The author needs to show more and tell less. Most of the secondary characters were nameless (one memorable example is Madeline Bianco's father, who on the very first page of the introduction is referred to as "(father's name) Bianco). M. says a prof will write her a recommendation if she applies for design school in Italy, in subsequent mentions, it's like she has already been accepted! Cont'd

DNI Sealed to Protect. Honestly, it didn't seem ready for publication-- at chapter 5, I realized I had no interest in the book, but thought I would aim to read half the book and reassess then. Dread --4 stars. Major cliffhanger at the end and I couldn't find anything about any upcoming books in the series. Great story that shows promise but some might be turned off by Dread's promiscuity.
