Picked it back up and I’m getting annoyed at all the plot holes. The way some characters and plot points were introduced, it feels like there were scenes that introduced them earlier that were removed. I’m going to finish the book most likely, but it’s pissing me off that there are so many plot holes.

Going to DNF this one. Main characters are inconsistently or inadequately characterized, and more importantly, annoying. The villain appears by name quite far into the book as if they have been talked about before when they have not. Just not good writing.
