The timeline and pacing are really weird in this book. Garrett picks Harry up at seven in the morning, drives 40-ish minutes from Chicago to Gary, Indiana (what do they do all that time? They don't talk. Do they just sit in silence?), takes him for a tour of the old church, drives 40-ish minutes back into Chicago, and... the sun is setting? They're going to dinner? It can't even be noon yet.
