I have had shit luck with books lately. Oh, I've read a few 5 stars here or there and of course reread my favorites. But anything new has been crap, crap, crap! Any good pnr or fantasy mate stories you'd recommend? *silently crying in the corner*

I wish I had something for you, Barb...the only non-contemporary book I can think of is a historical. Maybe that would shock you out of your slump, LOL.

Have you tried Jordan L. Hawk's Hexword series yet? It isn't uber lovey dovey, but Hawk is ALWAYS stellar.

I recently read Hexmaker, which is the third installment and second full-length the series. It was quite steamy. I don't find the relationships as romantic or well-developed as Whyborne and Griffin, but I feel like it's unfair to compare because they had an entire series. And they are one of my TOP couples.What about Tanya Chris' Omega Re series?? I haven't read the most recent one but I liked the first and I think that you will like the second even better.
I will check them out. I think I started the first one a while back since it was free and it was just too much sex for me. Yes I said that lol. I get so picky sometimes. I really want something romantic and sweet but true mates. It's hard to come by. All the good ones I've read and reread and reread lol.
