This book grabbed my eye, as someone who “is broke but still wants to eat.” Typically I grab cookbooks and flip through them to look at the recipes briefly. With this one...well I’ll be damned, but the author is witty and clever (she has a creative writing and it shows) and I actually read the entire introduction. Guess I’ll be reading the entire book now. Curses.
