One chapter mentioned black women 3 times, and the next centers them. I'm finding it really interesting howAngela Davis shifts her narrative focus. She's a gr8 author.

I'm reading this book as apart of the AACC Reads group at UConn. I'm only three chapters in but I'm loving the depth of the history, the theories on black womanhood and identity, as well as the name drops of all the activists I've never heard of. The complexity of the subject is hitting me hard.
