Just finished Lady of Quality and I must admit, I would probably smack Miss Farrow myself. Goes to show I'm not a lady of quality myself, alas. It's sort of sad the equanimity in which a woman would accept a man's infidelities (though, who knows, may he would reform) I suppose as long as he won't be like Penhallow's unfortunate patriarch she should be fine. Oh, rakes and rogues.

I'm on Charity Girl this time with a male main protagonist. I quite like his groom and also the Silverdale's butler who is always dripping with disapproval. Must admit though that younger brother Simon's chosen apparel sounds absolutely dreadful. Oh the dandy-set.

A two books in one! Currently ready Lady of Quality which is proving to be a fun little tale set in Bath. Sort of reminds me in some ways of Emma though it's less about match-making and more about readying a girl for her debut. I quite like Mr Carleton though he's definitely the most caustic of Heyer's leading men that I've read so far.
