The thing that surprised me the most was the fact that this started out very similarly to Shakespeare's tragedies. This story could have been a tragedy, if the characters did not find the situation humorous, murder could have ensued.

I am also really bad at identifying people, but the fact that no one can recognize anyone else is somewhat unreasonable. However, that is the point of the comedy.

Characters are just now starting to figure out how they were all tricked. It is a good feeling as the reader when the characters all are on the same page. Plot lines are less confusing when everyone knows about them.

Getting into the third act, the plot is picking up. I am somewhat confused with all the character and who's in love with who, but I think that's the point of the section.
