Louie and Phil were split up and Louie doesn't know if he is alive or not. Louie is at an POW camp in Japans mainland. He can see American Planes fly over all day and night and he is starting to believe that he and the other Americans and POWs are going to get saved soon.

Louie Just started being held captive be the Japanese. He and his friends Phil and Mac were the only survivors of a plane crash that had 11 men on it. He and his friends survived for 47 days on the ocean with little food or water.
