The first-person narrative sections are profoundly beautiful,moving, and just like life - sad and funny in almost equal measure.

I’m having difficulty with the second-person narrative passages. The stories seem disjointed. It’s difficult to visualize the person with specificity.

This experience reminds me of the joined stories in Wings of Desire - the Wenders version.
