we learn that the clippers won the game and are headed to Yankee stadium to play there final game. As they head to Yankee stadium Ellie is leading them the Yankee dugout. They are all excited to play and Michael is the happiest he has ever been.

As the game continues El Grande shows up with Mr. Kain and Ellie. They give Michael his birth certificate and he warms up to play the rest of the game. Michael gets some hits and other players score making the score 5-6 clippers. three more outs left in the end of three game and Michael is pitching.

We learn that the clippers are up against Justin's team again and Justin is talking trash to the clippers again. he keeps saying stuff about how Michael cant play because thy think he is to old to be in little league. After the first half of the game it is 5-0 and the clippers are losing.

we learn about how the Clippers had won another game. Then we learn about how Michael feels bad about how he hurt Ellie's feelings. he goes to the game to try and figure out a way to apologize to Ellie. he sees El Grande walking towards the room and sings a Cuban song. El Grande turns toward him and walks toward him. he then talks to Michael and Michael gives him the note and El Grande leaves.

we learn that uncle Timo is running late the day he needs to meet Mr. Gibbs. When he shows up he reminded Michael of his father exactly. The meeting is going well. Manny and Michael go to make lemonade and here Mr. Gibbs and Uncle Timo having a conversation like old friends.

we learn about the game they are playing and how it is a very important game. during the game Michael makes a high step when pitching and falls. he gets up and laughs about it but he sees the girl h likes Ellie watching him and he starts to laugh. then the coaches of other teams challenge the age of Michael and he is suspended from playing until he can get his birth certificate and show it to the board.

After that Mr. Lima shows up to interview Michael about stopping the thief with the baseball.
