I'm finding some the plot line and characters unconvincing. Ellen is a dying woman yet the book so far has hardly touched on this. Her husband loves her in his own twisted way but again no mention from him that her time is limited. I thought until now that he would redeem himself but divorce papers have just been served on him by a hot lawyer who he made a move on. His character type is finally formed.
