an interesting premise ruined by lackluster writing, and wink-wink, nudge-nudge 'banter' between main character POV and reader - that got old really quick. and then there's just not much 'there' there... advertised as a novella but really an intro/interlude with other novellas in the series, it leaves a ton to be desired, and very little meat on the bones to satisfy.
