Skimming this so I know if it's worth paying attention to the fact that the library has it available. So far it is more usefully and practically written than some of the other crochet books held by my library. For example, a description of foundation stitch rows (crocheting the foundation row and the first row simultaneously) that makes sense, and includes photos of doing so with different types of stitches.
