I only got this because I had a gift card (which, incidentally, I wont at a literary quiz contest sponsored by Goodreads!) to Book Passage, where they, unfortunately, only had new books. Perhaps I should have gotten 1Q84, but at $30 I thought it would be better to get two $15 books (this and Arguably by Hitchens). King is altogether too simple a thinker for me to fully enjoy this book, although it is inspiring.

"Stories aren't souvenir tee-shirts or GameBoys. Stories are relics, part of an undiscovered pre-existing world.
