Can atheists have a moral code? It does beg the question and it is something I have been racking my brain around for years. I hope this book can clarify that a bit, but I know this book probably won't answer all of my question. Will need to do some more digging.

Finally starting to get into the nitty gritty part dealing with religion. So far, a bit of a snooze, but I guess that's to be expected when you are reading from an objective point of view rather than a subjective point of view. I can understand this because it's trying to see religion from an outsider's point of view. Being subjective can often lead to favoritism. However it does raise an important question.

Finally got into the religion part of the book. It's mostly been western American politics up until now. By the way, perfect blend of philosophy, science, psychology, sociology and archaeology (in some places) in explaining how religion and politics are all tied together. Definitely A MUST READ book for anyone trying to understand and reconcile any differences amongst people who have opposing views.
