Ffinally at the second part of this book not disappointed. I'm not in a rush to finish. Even though this is not a novel Doris Kearns has done a good job in giving the reader a feel for what life and specifically politics was like in the nineteenth century. The first part of the book gives the reader a sense of who Lincoln was as a small town Lawyer, I am looking forward to seeing how he evolves as President.
