The screens and monitors were filling with line after line of some alien code, symbols racing across the videos at inhuman speeds. “What the hell is going on—” Brewster muttered. What indeed.

Skynet was nothing short of tenacious, and ingenious. It had been designed to think for itself; to adapt to any and all threats against it. Brewster wondered when all was said and done if Skynet would consider them a threat.

They had gotten through another crisis.
There were more to come.

The T-800 is quite the naughty machine.

She smiled again at the cop whose name tag read BARNES. “I like that gun.”

“The most intelligent system ever conceived.”

If Terminator could have any emotion at all, it would have been a certain satisfaction that he was back.

He looked up at a cloudless sky, brilliant with stars for a change, in time to see a meteorite streaking east to west.

At stake was nothing less than the futures of man and machine. No longer could the two coexist on the planet.
