I LOVES it when a poem I love connects with another poem I love! In his case, Levertov’s “The Showings: Lady Julian of Norwich, 1342-1416” echos Robert Lowell’s translation of Baudelaire’s “The Abyss.”

I wish my math classes would have included or even MENTIONED how important Pascal is to poetry!
