Poirot's interest in the man behind the crime payed off. Cust was the puppet behind a master puppeteer. He was lead to believe he did the crime, however innocent. Another man was behind the murderer's. Piorot is one tough cookie to break. He didn't take the obvious answer. He seekd the truth.

Piorot always has the most interesting way of solving the crime. He asks questions that seam random. Then in the end, their answers all match and reveal the mystery.

The murderer fells Piorot is full of himself. Since he was made fun of, he is jealous of him accomplishments in a way.

Stocking were only his cover. Piorot is still worried of the mans motive to kill. Is it targeted at Piorot?

The murderer is starting to mess up further. He murdered the wrong person. He left his luggage filled with stockings. Piorot was right.

The murderer knows he will be caught soon. He's starting to cut things to closely.

It's interesting how Agatha Christie sets up all of her books in different characters prospectives. This one is done by a friend of Piorot. So he obviously doesn't know whats going on with the murderer. That part is described in chapter not part of his personal narrative.

It sounds as if we know who the murder is, the characters however don't. I hate when this kind of thing happens cause I went to tell them and I obviously cant. It seams the people close to him have no ide he's the murderer. "He wouldn't hurt a fly".

Wise ol Piorit discovered the victims all had something to do with stockings. isnt a man you'd notice.

The letter was sent from Putney. Wonder if the letter has to do with Piorot.

It sounds like each victim was suffering in their own unique ways. Piorot's confidence may also be a motive.
