I didn't realize how many books are titled Adrift until I searched for this one.

Yeah, I'll be honest, I don't like the multiple POVs. I keep getting confused who is who and I'm halfway through the book. Other than that, it's a pretty good one.
Yeah, I'll be honest, I don't like the multi..."Yah that's always a potential problem with multiple POVs. Especially when you have it written in first person? Because if you miss the name at the beginning of the chapter then honestly it'll be beyond confusing.
Also I feel like I'm gonna get to the point where I'm going to be far more interested in one person's POV than another's, which will make some parts difficult to get through. But, I'm not that far in yet so hopefully that doesn't happen.

I keep getting confused on who's daughter or son belongs to who. I think now that I've finally gotten them right (now that I am in 60% through the book lol).
I haven't gotten bored with anyone's POV yet. Usually with multiple POVs, I get bored with someone like you said, but this one doesn't get me like that. But, they all sort of sound the same so maybe that is why I'm not liking or disliking someone's POV.
that’s a true statement. i’m still waiting to find out what the purpose of some of their POVs are though? although maybe i’m just way too critical.
Jessica wrote: "that’s a true statement. i’m still waiting to find out what the purpose of some of their POVs are though? although maybe i’m just way too critical."I would have to agree with the POVs and their purpose. I really wish the author had included Sarah's POV, but there isn't much from her. I often wonder if I am too critical, too, since I have read so many wonderful books. Maybe we are too critical?

But then I think that if you want your book to stand out, you have to compare it to all of the amazing books out there. Because it's probably safe to say that a lot of your readers have probably read a lot, so they'll naturally be comparing the story with many others that they have read.

Yeah, and even though this book was good, it didn't stand out to me as much as some of the other books I've read. It's been the best one I've read from the online book forum though.
Rachel wrote: "Yeah, and even though this book was good..."Yah, it seems to be hit or miss with the books on there. I've read a couple I've really enjoyed, but for the most part they either are sort of average or fall short.

Adrift was the first one that was above average. The other two were not that great lol.
