Keeping up a tradition of one day reuniting light skinned and black skinned is not the same thing as having sex with 12 year olds. So I don't understand the point of this revelation.

I hate how 180 pounds is supposed to be this "big and beautiful" size, since everyone is stick thin in these books. A beautiful plus size would be bigger, if they really wanted to reach out to the bigger plus size women.

They are prostituting their daughters. They are allowing this man, and his father, and his father, to rape their daughters. Consent or not, these children do not know what they are doing and are being groomed to have sex. Destiny is 16 and groomed to have sex "covered" with an almost 30 year old man. Because the man wants sex.... Seriously.. This book could have been left out of the series.

It's pretty disgusting that everyone wants this man. All these women chasing after him.

So I'm on book five and it seems they are connecting characters in interesting ways. We are introduced to a few new characters this book, but with old ones as well. I was confused at first, but it seems we are dealing with the older generation in this one. Mama Max is King's mother, need to remember that.
