The book teaches using Python, R, Julia, Octave with Anaconda+Jupyter. The authors try to plug their other books a few times :). In later Chs there is some ML stuff.
Overall, Anaconda installation Ch isn't clear. How do I make sure that all Python packages are available? We'll see.

Holy cow that was complicated. Installing Jupyter via Anaconda, then connecting Julia & Octave kernels was so hectic. I hope one day there is a conceptually simple, easy-to-use, universal package manager for everything under the sun. Nix ppl, make it happen!
