5 days have passed since the British arrived and there’s still no fighting, when Washington meets his troops, their disorderness was terrible while the British were marching in perfect lines but Washington keeps trying his best to build forts, strongholds etc.

Right after sending off Washington tells them they are free and that they are fighting for liberty in which in my head does not make sense but after those words US Troops March along the Hudson to meet the British

After the King of England declared war on the colonies he wants to take the colonies back then the boom switches to Washington and his failed mission to Quebec and now they wanna secure Boston because they believe is an important part of the us and they needed for supplies and if it got defeated then the British would most likely win.
